Honey West has been a hit on the cabaret circuit since her debut in the 1990 one-woman show: "A Taste of Honey". Her charm and versatility as a singer and comedian quickly amassed a huge following of fans, and has quickly become the Toast of Chicago.

Honey starred with Alexandra Billings and international sex kitten Seka in the 1996 comedy hit Vampire Lesbians of Sodom (selected to appear at the 1997 Montreal Comedy Festival), and in the acclaimed interactive hit comedy Tony and Tony's Wedding, Jerry's Girls and The Wizard of Aides.

Other theatrical experiences in Chicago include: ensemble award-winning musical's Dirty Dreams of a Clean Cut Kid, Son of Fire and Music Kills a Memory (invited to perform at the HBO Studio Workshop in Los Angeles). She appeared in a concert version of "Applause"  with Alexandra Billings at the Apollo Theater for Health Works Theater. Most recently she appeared in "Diva Diaries, The Musical" at the Lakeshore Theater.  Honey was also featured in the independent film "Velvets" shown at the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.

Honey has taken her unique talents to many Chicago-area cabaret and concert venues including: Park West, Magnums, Raw Bar, The Vic Theater, Hotel Nikko, Cabaret Metro, Royal George Cabaret, Cairo, Douglas Dunes, Baton Show Lounge, Madrigals, Carr's, Bugle Boy, Como Inn, Dandy's, Ravinia Green Country Club, Toto's, 1450 East, Pipers Alley, Second City etc., Jilly's, Marche, Lucky's, The Gentry, The Improv, Hotel Intercontinental, Bigg's Restaurant, Museum of Contemporary Art, Club 7301, Chicago Hilton Towers, Fizz, Hotel Allegro, Circuit, Rehab, Spin Excalibur, Charlie's, Touché, North End, Lucky Horse shoe, Axis, Nutbush, Bella Vista Restaurant, Bailiwick Theater, Ann Sather's Restaurant, Man's Country, Border's Books, Hunters, Cheetah Gym, Black Orchid, The Lisle Hilton, Chicago Art Institute, Chicago Cultural Center, Navy Pier, Gerber Hart Library, Cell Block, Rehab, The Edge, Inn Exile, Legacy 21, Manhole, Roscoe's, Sidetrack, Temptations, The Hyatt, Evetts Winter Garden, Chicago Theater and the Skokie Country Club.

Honey has performed in Tahiti on American Hawaii Cruise Lines, for Pillage and Plunder Cruise aboard the Regal Empress for Regal Cruise Lines, and Fantasy Fest aboard Royal Viking's SS Leeward. In addiction she has performed in Ft. Lauderdale at Club Electra; Provincetown; The AVN awards with Chi Chi LaRue, hosted by Bruce Vilanch;  Faces in St. Louis; and Heaven in Palm Springs, CA.  Honey recorded the love theme for Judy Tenuta's feature film comedy "Butch Camp."

IHoney has received two "After Dark Award"  for "Chicago's Outstanding Cabaret Entertainer". She was crowned "Ms. Morton Downy Jr." by a panel of Celebrity judges on the infamous talk show. Honey has been seen on "Oprah" backing up Cyndi Lauper alongside "Too Wong Foo…" stars Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes and John Leguizamo. She was given the honor to exclusively perform for Julie Andrews and the cast of Victor/Victoria at their gala opening night party. She has been featured and profiled in the Chicago Tribune; Chicago Sun Times; New York Native; Illinois Entertainer; 3rd Word Magazine; Gay Chicago Magazine (including 6 covers); Windy City Times; Out lines; Gab Magazine; Babble; Dragazine; Poz; The Reader; Nightlines; Hot Spots Chicago; Daily Herald; Boston Herald; WBEZ; Loop FM.

Honey hosted and was a part of special programming for Amburg Communications and LesBiGay Radio for 6 years.

Honey is working on two new CD's; one contains original music she is writing for her upcoming show called "Genderalities" is in production to be released next year.
